The We-Vibe Wand is the long awaited entry in to the world of wand style vibrators for We-Vibe. I have always been a lover of wand style vibrators so when I cannot begin to tell you how excited I was to get started with this We-Vibe Wand review. As anyone familiar with We-Vibe will know they are well know for their We-Vibe Sync, Tango, Nova and Rave toys which have been highly praised by users all over the world. The question is – will their wand vibrator be equally as good.
As you might expect the first thing you notice about this vibrator is how it is obviously a wand style vibrator. As far as wands go it looks like very much like any other wand style vibrator out there with a soft silicone head. As you would expect this means it is primarily designed for clitoral use. It comes with two silicone attachments one of which is a penis stroker, something my partner loved. I do like how the attachments are a fairly standard size meaning I can use them with my other wand vibrators should I choose to do so.
The neck of this vibrator is what I would describe as semi-flexible. I found that this meant myself or my partner could still apply the desired level of firm pressure without having to press to hard.
If you are the same as me and like your se toys to look pretty you will be pleased to know this toy sure looks pretty. It features a glittery purple band separating the head from the body.
The handle, or body as some people call it, features a grip with thin lines. I found these lines to be quite handy as they improved grip especially when lube was involved.

We-Vibe Wand Features
During this We-Vibe Wand review I pretty much fell in love with this toy from the very second I started using it. I own several wand vibrators but what makes this one stand out is the multiple vibration levels and and patterns As you would expect the vibration speed can easily be altered from slow, deep rumbles all the way up to pretty fast, buzzy type vibrations. What sets this wand vibrator apart is the 9 different pattern you can choose from. Everything from steady vibrations to pulses to waves. We-Vibe Wand Controls
When I first began this We-Vibe Wand review and realised it featured a joystick style controller I was a little worried. I am not someone who considers myself to be great with gadgets. In my experience I have always found any type of gadget or toy that had a joystick style controller to be more trouble than it is worth. However, I was pleasantly surprised with how easy this toy is to work. Up and down on the joystick controls the speed while side by side alters the vibration patterns. Press the joystick and this is the on and off switch. What could possibly be any easier. Put ti this way. It must be easy if I could use it with no issues at all. In fact I would go as far to say this simple toy use joystick controller is something I’d love to see on other sex toys in the future.

We-Vibe We-Connect App
My partner travels a lot with work so whilst I was busy with this We-Vibe Wand review I was delighted to discover it works with the We-Vibe Connect App. That means that if you install this app on your smartphone, it works on Android and iPhone, you can then control this wand vibrator from your phone. Granted, that is not really something that is exciting or even practical if you are using this vibrator alone. However, since my partner travels a lot it found this a great feature. It was so much fun giving him control of the wand via the app regardless of where he happened to be in the world. When we combined that with the fact the app allows text and video chat our long distance relationship really was taken to the next level.
Cordless and Rechargeable
The very first wand vibrator I ever used was a Hitachi style wand from from Lovehoney. That was a good few years back and it had an annoying power lead meaning you were pretty limited as to where it could be used. You certainly could not use it in the car and it was not the best toy to travel with.
The We-Vibe Wand is a total cordless affair. It has a rechargeable battery meaning you can pretty much take it anywhere. I will mention the charging time in more detail later.
Waterproof Design

Smart Silent Mode
The only thing that I noticed missing from this wand vibrator which I have seen on other We-Vibe toys was a travel lock. Something that is worth its weight in gold when you are travelling as who wants their suitcase to start buzzing when you are travelling. While the We-Vibe wand does not feature a dedicated travel lock it does have the its Smart Silence Mode which is does a very similar thing.

How to Use the We-Vibe Wand
I found that throughout this We-Vibe Wand review that it was an extremely easy vibrator to use.
At this point I will explain how to operate and use this truly superb vibrator.
Turning the We-Vibe Wand on is a simple as pressing and holding the circle button for two seconds. the wand will then give a short buzz to indicate it has been turned on.
The same circle button is used to turn the wand off.Press and hold it for two seconds and it will turn off.
You can increase the power of the vibrations by pushing the joystick control towards the + logo. Alternatively, should you wish to decrease the power of the vibrations you push the joystick in the opposite direction towards the – logo.
What could be any easier?
The specially designed “Silent Mode” pretty much operates itself. Simply place the head of the wand near your body and the silent mode will burst into action.
You will also notice a button with a ~ mark on it. Press and hold this button for five seconds and the silent mode will be deactivated. You can also cycle through the preset vibration patterns using the ~ button.
It’s all very straight forward isn’t it?
Things become a little more daunting but still easy enough when you control the wand using the specially designed We-Vibe We-Connect App which is installed on your smart phone. I am not the most technical minded so I will not explain how this smartphone app is used. This is simply because I will undoubtedly make it sound way more complicated than it actually is. What I will say is that if I can mange to install and use then anyone can. The We-Connect smartphone app really is a superb idea if you are in a long distance relationship.
The attachments which come with the We-Vibe Wand are equally as easy to use. For the penis stroker it is as simple as pulling the fitting over the head of the wand until it is securely fitted. Then apply some lubricant, carefully adjust the wings around the penis and away you go.
The fluttery attachment is used in pretty much the same way. Again, secure the fitting over the head of the wand. Then use it on your clit or your vulva. My partner and I found this attachment could also work wonders on his penis.

Not that the packaging a toy comes in has anything to do with its performance I still felt the need to mention it in this case. The W-Vibe Wand comes in a very appealing turquoise, purple and blue box. Its box is pretty large and feels like it is made from high quality materials. This is the packaging of a high quality, high end sex toy after all.
Inside the box, obviously, is the We-Vibe Wand itself. There is also a USB charging cable, the manual and the two silicone attachments.
The one thing I think could and should have also been included was a storage pouch of some description.
We-Vibe Wand Material and Care
The We-Vibe Wand is made from body safe silicone that feels beautiful on your skin. The silicone is free from phthalates, BPA, and latex.
It features a matte silicone finish which looks great, feels high end. The only problem with it was that I found it was prone to collecting lint.
Those two attachments we spoke about earlier are a mint green color and feel very silky and soft.
Throughout this We-Vibe Wand review I found it a breeze to care for and clean. It is a simple case of washing it with warm, soapy water before and after each use. The fact the We-Vibe Wand is waterproof means you do not find yourself worrying about damaging it when you are cleaning it.
You can of course use a sex toy specific cleaning solution although this is not mandatory.

My Experience Using the We-Vibe Wand
For the duration of this We-Vibe Wand review I used it pretty much everyday. As with every sex toy review I perform I like to use it over a period of at least four weeks. The idea is that I can then tell you about how a sex toy performs in the real world. Here is my experience using the We-Vibe Wand on a daily basis
We-Vibe Wand Vibrations and Sound
Over the years I have certainly used a lot of wand style vibrators. That includes wand vibrators from popular sex toy brands along with generic offerings. As I have already pointed out, when I first began this We-Vibe Wand review I was more than a little put off by the joystick control button. However, it turned out to be the most intuitive and easy to use controller I have encountered in a long time.
The Smart Silence mode never missed a beat when I used it. Once you try it for yourself you will, like me, quickly start wishing that every vibrator you buy has the same mode.
The handle is as close to perfectly designed as you could hope for. Its curved handle makes it easy and comfortable to hold even for extended lengths of time. The neck manages to perfectly combine a little flexibility for you to apply pressure perfectly. Combined with the narrow head I found this vibrator a dream whenever I desired focusing the stimulation to a pinpoint part of myself.

I have to admit that while carrying out testing for the We-Vibe Wand review things really did keep getting better and better. This is where I get the chance to talk about the attachments that come with this vibrator.

The reason I am talking about them is because it is, in my experience, very rare that you buy any sex toy and have it come with attachments that are free of charge. For me, this alone would be a huge selling point for this sex toy.

Personally, I found that throughout this We-Vibe Wand review I preferred using it without the fluttery attachment. The penis stroker on the other hand was a huge hit with my partner. Obviously, as a woman I cannot comment on his personal experience with it. What I can tell you is that it made him cum like a baby gorilla which is the same as a positive two thumb up.

As an average the wand takes about two hours to reach fully charged from absolutely dead. Once it is fully charged I managed to get an average of around 100 minutes of use from that single charge. The manufacturer claims that a full charge will give you up to 120 minutes from a single charge. However, in my real world experience 100 minutes was the average. I would challenge anyone to use this wand vibrator for a 100 minutes continuously so that is more than enough battery life. Even for the most passionate of women.
